Cupcake

Cupcake was rescued in July of 2025 in partnership with NSLB from Baldwin Park Shelter. She is every bit the pomeranian queen. At more than 12 years old, she arrived at Barkee after being surrendered by her owner. When she came to us, she was in rough shape - covered in flea debris and had painful ear infections that needed immediate care.

Thanks to a rescue partnership with NSLB, she now has a soft bed, gentle hands, and the love she deserves. Her bloodwork looks encouraging overall, and she is receiving ongoing monitoring. Cupcake also lives with severe arthritis and disc disease, which we are managing with supplements, anti-inflammatory support, and soon she will have monthly injections to keep her comfortable.

Despite her challenges, Cupcake carries herself with grace and charm. She is settling into her royal role here, soaking up affection and enjoying her new life of care and comfort.
