Julio

Julio’s journey with us is truly one of fate. Back in 2019, we tried to rescue this sweet senior cocker spaniel, but another group took him before we could. Years later, he resurfaced in the most unexpected way in May of 2023. His rehoming family, who had originally found him alongside two now-deceased chihuahuas, struggled to place him again when no one seemed interested in adopting an elderly dog.

That’s when a wonderful networker shared his link with us — and this time, the timing was perfect. Julio is now with us forever. Though blind, mostly deaf, and living with a heart murmur, he’s in remarkable shape for his age. More importantly, he’s safe, loved, and exactly where he was always meant to be. Sometimes, destiny has a way of making sure dogs like Julio find their forever home.
